HappyDays
I put Vista on another comp and I do no want it on my laptop anymore. I installed the beta on a second partition on my HD, what is the safest way to delete vista, the bootloader, and extend the length of my XP. I do have Partition Magic. Serb-Man
Format the partition you are using for Vista when you are on XP, with PM 8.0. Then, edit the boot.ini file (msconfig) by removing the entry that vista made. For me, it worked that way. The Vista boot manager disappeared. cropcircles
I used Acronis Acronis Disk Director Suite and did the same as Serb-Man mentioned. Deleted the partition that Vista was on and then went into XP and edited the boot.ini
