Its for BF2 btw Come check 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit. www.24th-meu.com There is a sub forum labeled "MEPS (Military Enlistment Processing Station)". Apply there and check us out. We are based around the 24th MEU which one of our officers was a part of. We are tactically minded and are looking for people who can work as a team. So head on over and check us out. We have right now the following Section/Division/Attachments: 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Division -Fox Company (Line Infantry, standard mission force) 2nd Force Reconnaissance Company -Deals with specialized missions Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron-263 -Deals with airborne operations (Jets/Helicopters/MedEvac) Each of these elements are currently independently run by a commander. How the process goes... anyone joining now will come into the unit as a Private, but be given the opportunity to choose a detachment to join. There's a few exceptions to the rule (Private ruling): Pilots come in as 2nd Lieutenant's Force Recon is closed out, and will not accept applicants. You will need to go through a specialized indoc performed once a month AFTER you have dedicated yourself to a month of service with the MEU's regular forces. Eventually all new recruits coming in will be placed into a basic training class, and will join the MEU's main body after completing that course. We want this to be a fun and exciting unit for everyone. We base ourselves on the principles of realism, and will do our best to follow them (while making sure that it's fun for everyone). Former military experience is not necessary, but it always helps. If you're thinking about joining an armed service... you might benefit from being in a unit such as this (quite a few of us are current military, or prior). Website/Server Status: www.24th-meu.com Right now what we do is meet up on the 45th ID TeamSpeak server, and gather together to play. It's seems to be working out thus far. We do run one drill each week per detachment (Force Recon trains together... Pilots train together... Infantry trains together), and then we mass up 3 times a week minimum on a single server to coordinate together. This is a great environment for the military buffs out there.
