LilSnoop40
Hi, i just purchased a Cold Cathode Light Kit, Green from www.pcmods.com. i have the package now. i want to install it, in the best spot. Anyone else have one of these, should i install it along the bottom of the pc case, also it comes with a black on/off switch. In the instructions it tells me to cut a hole somewhere and install this, where should i install this small on/off switch please. thanks
Jz1397-4
I would install it on the left hand side of your case right above the PCI and AGP slot. This way the light goes across everything. I have a blue cold cath. and it looks great. As for the switch, I cut a small hole (does not need to be perfect), and it works. I would suggest doing that so every time you want to turn the light on and off you do not need to open the case. How do you post an image? LilSnoop40
where should i put the hole at for the switch? i was thinking about cutting a hole in the middle of the second floppy drive blank cover on the front of my case and put it in there. cause the front case door shuts so you wont really see the switch and it is easy to get to. for the picture i believe you have to upload it to a website, server then direct the link there. Sick
I have my blue cathode located at the top. It seemed to be the only place it would fit. As for the switch, it's on the side panel at the top, kinda by the power supply. I would've like to put it somewhere else, but the cords weren't long enough. :dead:
Jz1397-4
I cut a tiney hole next to the window. it looks fine. putting it into the floppy drive or on an empty 3 and 1/2. To me that does not look good. but to each his own.
