Keldyn
lol i'm not sure this is possible short of getting perhaps a new bios or mainboard? Companies like compaq and dell don't like their customers playing about in the BIOS. The only other thing i can think of is perhaps if your board has any dip switches or jumpers you can change. If you know your mainboard type you could possibly do a search online, however i am thinking compaq more than likely use their own parts so.... Next time build the system yourself. v0rt3x
You're pretty much out of luck when it comes to overclocking on that board. OEMs try to prevent you from overclocking by limiting the features in the BIOS. There is a very remote chance that there may be jumpers somewhere on the mobo (no idea where) that allow you to change the FSB. For example, my old Compaq's mobo had a jumper that would let you change the FSB to 66/100/133 depending on which jumpers were removed. My P3 ran at 133 FSB default, but if I had a Celeron (the older ones run at 100 FSB) I could have overclocked that. Basically, your only hope to O/C your CPU is to buy a new mobo.
