imtoomuch
I don't calculate my MPG. It's a waste of time because no matter how many times you calculate it, there's not much you can do to change it, short of getting a new car. And yes, I am aware that using A/C and driving fast and agressive can substantially lower your MPG. I also wouldn't trust the claimed MPG of your car. There's no regulation of this number. Toyota claims the Prius gets something like 60MPG and that has been proven to be a myth.

majortom1981
the site says anywhere from 29mpg and 39mpg. I drive a 2004 toyota coroolla. But that site does not take into account that ny has a 10 percent ethanol mixture and another additive in the winter. Its more like 26-36 because of the gas . DELTA75329
I drive a 2004 Mazda 3i Automatic. I'm getting 32mpg on average, but I've seen 37-38mpg on two road trips already. :) Just about any I4-cyl car driven and maintained with care should get respectable gas mileage such as this. btw - shouldn't this be in the NeoBahn Forum? Garrett Socling
2005 Corolla S Odd I noticed this thread, I just posted my MPG on a Corolla forum: http://www.corolland.com/forums/index.php?...pic=17326&st=60 That website says 32 41 $1063 I find that to be pretty close to accurate, as far as typical city/highway milage. In that thread above, I explain how I got two numbers, one for my normal driving style (39.5 MPG) and one for when I tried to push conservation as hard as possible (45.9 MPG).
