I think you mean the chip codenamed NV30 which may be coming out around that time. also its not the card used in the XBox, the XBox is similar to the GF3 but it is a separate chip altogether Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lawtai Posted July 7, 2002 Share Posted July 7, 2002 yea, but that would require waiting, and if you decide to wait, there's always gonna be something better that'll be coming out in an a few months. Right now I think the Geforce 4 Ti's are the best. The ATI 8500 comes close, but isn't quite up to par with the ge4 ti's. But if you do decide to wait, ATI's coming out with the 9700 which is supposed to be a lot better than the geforce 4's and it's coming out before nvidia releases their newer card too.
