sailgreg
I would get a 24x12x48 sony or yamaha, there are about $79, any faster it is hard to get blank cd r's and they cost alot :) I still use a 4x burner, it works fine for me :)

I am also an AOpen owner, the 24x10x40x, but I gotta tell ya, there's a lot of unhappy AOpen customer. Lookie here: http://club.aopen.com.tw/forum/viewforum.a....asp?forumID=20 the complaints are sky high and AOpen don't seem to respond to customers' issues. besides, the AOpen can't do copy protection like the Lite-On can ;)
