AGP or PCI?

open up your box and look. The agp slot is a longer brown slot. But if you bought your comp in a store and it's a compaq or HP, then it's most likely got integrated video. So you would need PCI vid cards to upgrade. If you got it from dell or gateway, it most likely has an agp slot. But easiest way to find out is to open it up and look for yourself.

yeah, that's about right. and umm, what it says on the box is not always true. my friend has an e-machines computer and it says it has an AGP card and that is completely false. It has onboard video and no AGP slot.

Yeah, my laptop has a AGP video card and it is intergrated, but it is still AGP, it just uses a differant connector :)
