My favorite cell phone is the Nokia 3390!

(hey, the OP asked for a cell phone, and I gave one.)

Its what a cell phone does: make and receive calls w/out any fancy text messaging, games, hip ringtones, etc

(BTW, why doesn't the poll have Samsung, Motorola, Panasonic, LG, etc...?)

First I had a Nokia 3310, then an Ericsson A2618, then I got my Moto E1000 and an iPAQ 4150 to go with it. Now I've sold the E1000 and iPAQ and bought an iMate jam. I'm planning to get rid of that in january and get either an HTC wizard or universal.

Sony Ericsson is on top with out a doubt. the k700 is probably one of the top selling phones, and the s700/s710a and k750 are packed with functionality and are all very stylish phones.

Samsung is probably almost up there with SE. the D500 is also a very nice phone that can compete with the s700. if the E630 has mp3 rings it would probably be just as if not more popular than the k700.

Nokia is falling behind in style on functionality. their last gen of phones didn't impress me. although the N90 looks promising.

Motorola has issues with their menus, not user friendly enough. although hopefully that will all change with the release of the RAZR V3x.... but the RAZR V3 lacks functionalty. itf it only had more memory or even an expandable memory slot it would be up there with the s700 and D500.

and... Siemens?

haven't heard much about them... nor do i know many people that own a Siemens phone....

Motorola would be my favorite. I've currently got a Motorola V710, and I'm happy with it. I've owned Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and Nokia phones before, but Motorola has consistently been the best for me.

well im using the k750i. gsm phone, vivid screen, bluetooth, ir, usb, got media player, play mp3s (acts as mass storage device), got memory stick duo slot (got a 512 in there, 2gb max), can play video (ie mp4, 3gp), 2mp camera, flash (more like assist light), night mode, macro, panorama, video recorder (length depends on memory), detailed calender (can set task based by the hour), stereo radio (with auto seek all channels), run radio, mediaplayer or calls through speaker, and more.
