updated bios, why do i hear a beep, and why are scsi/raid drivers inst

hello, im curious as to what the hell is going on, i updated my bios to F7 of my GA-7VTXH and changed all the settings to what i previously had them at, and rebooted, and at the screen where it shows where my computer is looking for what to boot, i hear a beep, and everything continues as normal, then i am told i have new hardware install, i restart, and it says i have a STEALTH SCSI controller... wtf?! i dont! anyone know whats going on? thanks!! ladr

well it started out saying bad checksum, then i set all the settings, but no, i didnt clear the cmos, do i need to? do i just take out the battery and put it back in, or is there an easier way? thanks for the reply

there's a program that you can dl which you run right after you flashed your bios. It'll do the same thing as manually clearing your cmos. I don't remember the name of the programt hough. But yes, you should clear your cmos. You'll need to pull your battery, unplug comp from wall, and find two points which you'll need to short. Make sure your comp is unplugged from the wall though or else you'll fry your mobo.
