tonicx
I just noticed horizontal scrolling does not work in Firefox, I'm using a IBM T43 with both touchpad and pointing stick, the scrolling cursor does show up but it just doesnt scroll horizontally. I searched for Firefox Horizontal Scrolling in google, it returned with some Mac Osx Firefox fixes for the Mighty Mouse, these fixes does not work in Xp version. Anyone have any idea how to fix this problem?
rguy84
How much horizontal scrolling are we talking about? Most sites are good at making it on a 800.x600 scale. Or are you saying when you middle click and try to scroll and it doesn't scroll. I sometimes have to click a few times to get it to scroll... tonicx
There is a vertical and horizontal scroll feature on my laptop's touch pad and the pointing stick (eraser head). Both of these works in Word, Excel, IE etc. The feature you describled here is autoscrolling, which works in Firefox. I know most websites are design for low res settings, and horizontal scrolling shouldnt be needed for most of them, but Firefox is broken and it should be fixed. I'll submit a bug report to Mozilla soon.
