Izlude
I'm running a dual boot system of Win2k3 and Beta 1 (5112). I had previously backed up my files through another computer (xp pro based) onto DVDs. My Win2k3 can read them, but when I boot up in Vista it will give me the error message- "The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable" Is there some kind of ASPI issue? Stated once more, XP and Win2k3 can read the DVDs as of now, but Vista gives the error message. Thanks! (on a side note, everything is running smoothly, day to day tasks, networking, but no glass effect due to radeon 9200 = no ati catalyst vista support)

Izlude
I'd steal my bro's DVD burner, but it's his prized possession (the XP based pc I mentioned up there) oh yeah, win 98 was able to read the DVDs. But... Simply all I have to do is boot into win2k3, copy the data onto the F (shared partition) and then reboot into vista and there it is... but I "want" to be able to read DVDs without going into the other OS. Is anyone else having problems like this?
Commodore Max
Vista must be having trouble with your DVD-ROM then, try to find it's drivers, then manually install them in the Device Manager.

Izlude
raspberries! it's an old AOpen DVD drive. I guess it's time to upgrade? I could use a new video card too. I'm anxious to see the glass! I tried forcing the radeon 9500 LDDM onto my 9200, the result was slow moving windows. thanks anyway, case closed...
