aberflasm Posted August 30, 2005 Share Posted August 30, 2005 Last night my connection died suddenly on my pc but was working fine on my laptop and 2nd pc. pc A had changed to an unfamilar ip while pc B and laptop were fine. i played around with settings but pc A suddennly fixed itself. this morn the same thing happened. DHCP server registered incorrect ip address. i was able to workaround it this time by setting the alternative configuration to match the internet config of my router rather than the lan config. can anyone help me figure what may be causing this and a possible solution? pc A) xp pro sp2 NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Adapter router) linksys wrt54g Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
