xmitchx
Strange... I have been a firefox user since 0.9 and I have never had any problems but just this morning, after a few hours of working, firefox stopped following all of my meta redirects, and any meta redirects on other sites too. Is there an option I accidentally touched? How could this happen? Note: Yes, I tried clearing my cache. Yes, all the redirects point to valid locations. Yes, other people have tried the redirects and they work.
IceDogg
Can you post an example URL that this happens on. Something we can access, please. What version of Firefox are you currently having this trouble on? Any extensions? If so you might want to list them. I'm just trying to get info so someone can help you. xmitchx
http://www.personal.kent.edu/forward.html But now it works... I just had to restart firefox. I'm not sure what happened since I didn't install any extensions or update or anything. I am running 1.0.
IceDogg
You really need to update that anyway. It has some security issues. The latest is 1.0.6 for the public. They are about to release a 1.5 beta shortly too. I would get it when it does release, because I use the nightly (testers) build and it's pretty stable. The security fixes in 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 don't interest me enough to completely uninstall and reinstall. :)
Yochanan
You don't have to uninstall and reinstall. The installer is designed to do an in-place update. It takes 10-20 seconds of your time, and it's worth it.

I just wanted to tell you in case you didn't know or whatever. PS Yochanan is right too, but sometimes it messes up and your profile gets killed. Not very often though. I overwrite the install with the latest official release, then manually overwrite that with a Moox build. I've been doing this since .8 without any problems.
