liquidator
I dont know if this is the right section, but this problem is pretty much Mozilla-related, so... I've got this weird problem when i try to set Thunderbird the defaul mail client: I type "...\thunderbird.exe" -silent -nosplash -setDefaultMail But the thunderbird window shows up in a weird way. Is this normal?
bangbang023 Veteran Posted August 31, 2005 Veteran Share Posted August 31, 2005 can I ask why you're running it with those parameters to begin with?
liquidator
I've made an unattended xp installation, and i want to make thunderbird the default mail client by default. I've searched the web, and I found this... I thought it was the right solution, also because firefox has the exactly the same parameters (it has -setDefaultBrowser instead)... bangbang023 Veteran Posted August 31, 2005 Veteran Share Posted August 31, 2005 ah so you only need this to be run once then yeah? Once it sets itself as a default, it shouldn't need to be run again.
liquidator
Yeah, but the problem is the first time, I'm not able to set it the default one, cause it has a strange behaviour like I said above...
