Australian Science Makes the Regenerating Mouse

Australian scientists have created mice which can regenerate absolutely any tissue excpet for the tissues of the brain. Heart, lungs, entire limbs, you name it. This is the first time this has been seen in mammals. The potential implications are positively mammoth. I thought this warranted attention. :)"

I was only thinking the other day how cool it would be if we could grow body parts back :)

absolutely any tissue excpet for the tissues of the brain. Heart, lungs, entire limbs, you name it.

heh, I had to read that a few times for me to get what that means. I read it as "absolutely any tissue except for the tissues of the brain, heat, lungs, entire limbs" so I was thinking "how's that a good thing?"

Excellent. I wonder if the same regeneration could be applied to all kinds of tissue damage.... this would make lifting weights and building muscle a LOT faster process!

LoL pretty much. It seems like a good idea for humans, but I wouldn't want to be a test subject. :|
