Nighthawk-F117
I found this video of Police officers looting Wal-Mart and denying it. Although, there are much bigger things to deal with than people looting a multinational. I think this video shows a more human side of police officers, and that they need things too, not just civilians - as long as they need the stuff and aren't just taking it because they can. http://www.nighthawk-f117.myby.co.uk/nopolicelooting.wmv Edited September 2, 2005 by Nighthawk-F117

unimatrixzer0
At first I was like, whats wrong with all those people just walking in and stealing. But now that I've seen more, I suppose I can understand maybe taking a shirt or something if you're lost everything, and of course food and water. Those cops though had a whole shopping cart full of shoes,... do they really need two dozen pairs of shoes each?
Fedorpheux
I know it sounds bad.. but I'm jealous of all the looters. 586470385[/snapback] Well, it may seem cool that they can walk down to the local Wal-Mart and walk out with a free Xbox or something fancy like that, many of them probably don't have power or even much of a house to bring it back to. matthewf01
A lady had a shopping cart full of PURSES. Oh theres a pink purse, a spotted purse, a brown purse, a black purse. YEA YOU NEED A PURSE. That kid making off with a PowerWheels electric truck. Kids riding off with bikes.
Hurmoth
 I'm sorry, I know this isn't a time for laughing, because what has happened to these people is horrible and extremely saddening. I pray for the best to everyone effected by this, but to see the police looting and the little boy with a pink shirt and the report say, "it doesn't quite look your color" is absolutely halarious! Master Shake
I hope the mayor or police chief or someone puts a boot in their ass for this. I guess a bunch of officers handed in their badges and refused to work. I don't know if it was because they were scared or what. They swore to serve and protect, and they're going to turn their backs on their city when they're needed most. That makes me feel really ill. Boffa Jones Veteran Posted September 2, 2005 Veteran Share Posted September 2, 2005 It is terrible that all this looting is happening but I mean, people need supplies and obviously not everyone is getting access to them. On that note the cops have no business looting. Chances are they are getting their supplies before most people.

Chad
You guys need to realize this is Wal Mart's policy. In the event of a disaster, they have always said anything in local stores are free for the taking. Unfortunately, I also saw people were helping themselves to some things that won't really help them live. I heard it re-announced several times today over radio and TV. It seems MSNBC didn't know about Wal Mart's 'open door' policy. After watching the video, officers didn't know that policy existed either
skase
The cops are human beings as well. They didnt sign up to put up with this crap. The military should know what to do in these situations. They were never trained for this. LMAO @ pink kid. They might've lost houses, family as well.

Surely they can't mean "anything" and everything, though, can they?
Premgenius
The army should shoot them correct because they have been given order to shoot to kill yesterday. EDIT: If Wal-Mart has such as policy then I guess its OK, wonder if ASDA in the UK as the same policy considering Wal-Mart bought them :p.
