Alien Venom
How does Google know how do do that? 586472707 Probably by some user agent checking. The real question is, why haven't we seen more sites do this?
ThunderRiver
That's actually better that Google came up with shortly after IE7 Beta 1 was released. They basically added a new GUI.

Jeremy1
It's surprising to see that coming from Google.586487063 Why? They're a corporation, and they want (need) to maximize their profits. And in order to maximize their profits, they need to be as pervasive as possible. And in order to be as pervasive as possible, they need to be the default search engine on what will become the world's most popular browser in a short period of time. It would be surprising to see MSN do something similar with Firefox. This is not surprising at all.

Julius Caro
In that screen IE really looks like FF, but in a more minimalist way. I wish Opera looked like that too :p I don't want to start a flame war, just thought I'd point it out. The adress bar, the search bar and the tabs, arranged that way, that's so FFish. Except for the 2 back/forward buttons and the menu "inside" the tab. I thought that the back button should be bigger because it's the most used. I read it somewhere time ago. midosm.com
I noticed that too, but closed it. Any way to get it back? Also, you can change the search to Google in IE7, but anyone know how to check it to Google suggest? OR Make every NEW PAGE TAB go to the Google suggest by default?
