How do I get the taskbar to be on both monitors?

Recommended Posts

Ok ive got dual montiors hooked up but now i cant figure out how to get the windows taskbar to span across both screens. is ther a way so the taskbar extends through both screens, and when u maximize a window, it maximizes to both of the monitors (a super maximize :))

use ultramon...it's wonderful. And a super-maximize is really helpful when doing graphic editing at 8x. Blowing a single image up to 30+inches by 15+ inches or having all parts of a skin laid out on a workspace that large is very nice.

Ultramon can do the taskbar thang you want done, as well as different backgrounds for each monitor and a lot more.

on the second monitor (left) you can see it at the bottom, it's the best taskbar you're gonna get for a secondary monitor... good luck.
