ck2k01
Ok ive got dual montiors hooked up but now i cant figure out how to get the windows taskbar to span across both screens. is ther a way so the taskbar extends through both screens, and when u maximize a window, it maximizes to both of the monitors (a super maximize :))

CrooKed
Not the taskbar. But you can bring over a toolbar such as Quicklaunch...
thingsforjason
unless you've got a dualhead card, i don't think you can do that...not entirely sure tho. i personally wouldn't want a super maximize like that... there's a FAQ and a bunch of other info on multiple monitor setups here: http://www.realtimesoft.com/multimon/
Morphos
use ultramon...it's wonderful. And a super-maximize is really helpful when doing graphic editing at 8x. Blowing a single image up to 30+inches by 15+ inches or having all parts of a skin laid out on a workspace that large is very nice. Ultramon can do the taskbar thang you want done, as well as different backgrounds for each monitor and a lot more.
