jakedman790
I have succesfully got my copy running, in fact I'm posting from IE7 right now within beta 1... I currently using an Intel Extreme 3D Graphics Card, its onboard with 64mb shared. My delima is that I cant find any drivers that will install on vista. I always get some sort of 'OS not supported' message. Someone on another forum suggested using the Windows 2000 drivers on Intels site rather than the XP drivers, but to no avail, Short Version, is anyone else using Intel Graphics with Vista? And if so where did you get your drivers. (I tried the supplimental driver pack but got nothing.) thanks in advance

jakedman790
so there is no support for onboard in beta 1, thats cool... now budget pcs will be forced to supply better cards.
TheoCryst
No, I wouldn't call that cool. What about people with laptops? Upgrading video is not an option for us, and its not like most laptops come standard with dedicated graphics cards. There's got to be a catch; there's no way that Microsoft would simply refuse to allow a huge portion of computer users run their newest operating system. It is an executable file right click on it a set the compatibility mode to XP run the file and the drivers should install... Mind you you will not see any cool aero effects just the minimal version.... Let me know how it turned out.

jamend
The Intel Extreme Graphics 2 on the 845 chipset is DX 8.1. Only the newer 9xx chipsets have Intel GMA 900 graphics that support DX 9.
