nomis_nehc
As of now, I have not found a way to enable the romeo format in Nero. Is it impossible? (for those that don't know: Romeo Format enables filename to be 125 characters, currently the app I know for sure that does Romeo is CDMate)
0 JHAres
Maybe you're talking about the "Joliet" format...??? :D Look again... ;) Edit: Just for to be more clear, the "Romeo" format is an old standard used first by the old Easy CD Pro, the actual common format for long names is "Joliet". 0 JHAres
Yea... I know "Romeo" exist... but look my Edit, is an old format, not used anymore has a standard. Look in the famous cdrfaq's... NTI CD Maker apparently still supports "Romeo" too...
0 nomis_nehc
ok, I have read the faq. and this is my understanding: romeo and joliet is NOT the same. romeo allows 128 characters, while joliet only 64 so to answer my own question (apparently), it is impossible to do romeo in Nero. 0 Rudy
Why would you want to have a file name that long???!?!?!?!?! :s
0 JHAres
Sure... is not the same... 64 vs. 128... I had the idea you was confused with a standard not in use... I'm just stating the actual standard for long files names is "Joliet", and "Romeo" is apparently dead now... :D Yep, appears to be not possible do a "Romeo" format in Nero... doesn't not support that old standard... :ermm:
