I am, IceDogg. Very concerned about my security, I even password protect my account.

I am also looking at improved functionaility and experience. But Security is my number 1 concern.

Good to see, I thought maybe I misunderstood or everyone had lost their minds. LOL J/K all. I guess I'm paranoid somewhat, it's always at the front of my mind when making choices. And yea functionality (assuming that's speed too) is second for me.

I still want to know why this is on Neowin?

I think that is just a joke.

Tough to choose between speed and graphics, but yeah, speed gets my vote.

"better searching" - funny how a lot of the Vista (and IE7) features are aimed directly at Google.

I'm looking forward to improved security and, more specifically, proper user accounts. It's ridiculous how users are given full access by default with Microsoft's current operating system.

I also hope Microsoft don't reinvent any more "standards" for themselves. Their fight against FOSS is ongoing but they won't win if they lock everything else out. Interoperability is the key. The less monopolistic and the less they exercise harsh business practises, the more I will be inclined to actually use Windows Vista.

For now, I'll happily run my Ubuntu system, safe in the knowledge that I am free of the malware that currently plagues Microsoft Windows.

Im after more security in Vista, a new look will be good also. But yes security is what I want from the next OS. Less restarts will be nice to.

I am looking foward to a better graphics subsystem. Don't need extra security. Got enough already!

I didn't put 'all of the above', cos the question is what are you most looking foward to.

I forgot to put 'Better control over what starts with Windows'. All the rubbish like Windows Desktop Search......

I'm mostly looking for increased security and speed! i'm just tired of having to do fresh install (from image or whatever) every time some random program screws with the registry or adds crap to the system folder. i want to know when a program adds/modifies ANYTHING on my system other than its folder inside C:\Program Files. and i want a faster boot/shutdown and less resource/processor usage and more control over my system resources (services, dlls)

I think the new version of windows really should have an option on the f8 menu to run system restore outside of windows when your computer won't boot. a system restore point is capable of fixing such problems, I?ve actually accessed a restore point off a barts pe cd and it did fix the problem, but it would be allot easier if windows gave you the option in the boot menu.
