HelgenX
Usually whenever I started my Firefox, it started with Google as the default first search engine, now it always starts with Yahoo! as the default search engine... how can I change this bullcrap? iOsiris
You must have installed Yahoo IM or something related with that. Take a few extra minutes to do a custom installation of Yahoo Messenger with Voice so that you can cherry-pick your preferences. Unfortunately, the default installation is aggressive in changing your Web browser's home page and search engine to Yahoo if you don't tell it not to. It also adds gay **** like livewords etc... Better yet don't use something like that (if you did)...
HelgenX
You know how to take it off? Actually, I did install Yahoo, I use it to chat with my girlfriend while she's in vacation in Japan.

Maybe that will help you delete the extension, if you can.

Ambience
@ Jannar85: The Firefox skin is called Qute 3. Not sure about the visual style.
f0rbez
Try clearing your profile folder. Backup important settings, like your bookmarks, first though. To get to your profile folder put "%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" into the run box. "search.rdf" might be the file that holds this setting, but I'm not sure. If its not you would have to manually delete it from either the profile folder or the main firefox folder under the subfolder "extensions". f0rbez
No, run box in windows. Not the address box. Start > Run. Also, you want to look for a specific extension. Or just clear them all if you don't feel like finding it.
HelgenX
See, I don't have that problem, it's just that the usual search engine selected first is google, but now it's Yahoo, and I hate yahoo search, and am too lazy to click on google instead, I want to remove yahoo PERIOD.
