+Warwagon MVC Posted March 15, 2006 MVC Share Posted March 15, 2006 I spilled Vodka on mine about 3 years ago. 2 hours later it started acting up like when you kill a keyboard with liquide, but then after about 3 days it worked just fine. So remember, if you HAVE to spell something on your keyboard, make it vodka The first time I killed a keyboard was on my old gateway computer. It was still within warenty and I called them and told then what happend. She basicly told me I was an idiot and not to admit doing something because then it was my fault and I couldn't get a replacement. So she said next time to lie! MightyJordan
I once spilt coke over a keyboard. Luckily, it still worked, but it went sticky after it dried. And the other bad thing about it is that it was my dad's keyboard.

Laurë Veteran Posted March 18, 2006 Veteran Share Posted March 18, 2006 My keyboard has sooooo much stuff underneath the keys, and dried spillages over the keys.... still works perfectly though! Does that work or am I being an idiot? Yeah it does. I spilt coffee or tea over my old keyboard, making some of the keys sticky. When I say sticky I mean that you had to hit them really hard to press them. Anyway when I got a new one I gave it to my boyriend, who promptly washed and ixed it. The keyboard I am using now has only ever been showered with crumbs and this morning some cuttings off my mini fur tree thing.
