The fact that it came becasuse we realised Scervy could be irradicated by eating citrus fruit means it is not exactly a 'soft spot' to direct jokes at. I don't even think it is in the same league as other slurs on nations such as 'Paddy', 'Krout' and even something las common or innoffencive as 'Yank'.
