I have a friend that is having a hard time viewing .nfo files on his Mac. What program can he use and where can he find it?

.nfo files are just ascii text file - any text editor can read them..

I guess he was having a problem opening it up in a text editor. Forgive my Mac ignorance, but is there a way to "associate" the nfo files with the text editor? And I'm assuming that there is no specific .nfo viewer like Damn?

Dude if your friend does not know how to open a file with his favorite text editor - then maybe you should just tell him the computer is broken ;) And you need to take it back to your shop and fix it.. "Theres a light that doesnt light on one side" You'll fix it up there, and then bring it back.

Return with an etch-a-sketch, and he will be none the wiser ;)

What text editor does he use? I would be happy to point you to some instructions "with pictures" of course - so you can show him how to open a file with it.

edit: here this might be of help
