Does anybody know that there is a registry key or something that could have been replaced accidently or something that i can edit to change it back...?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

It should look like this dude...

ieversion2ty.jpg

Not sure where it pulls the value from... It might be:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Version

Which has the value

6.0.2900.2180

www.getfirefox.com    :p   :D

586503510[/snapback]

The reason why I need this to work is not becuase I want to use IE, its because I need IE to use other programs.

I'll try what you said jafo...thanks :)

EDIT: I don't have a folder called version, I have a folder called Version Vector with multiple keys in it, and in the main IE folder, theres nothing called version either :-/

no change in my problem....thanks for trying!

anybody else?

I too am having this issue...

Anyone found a fix for it yet ?

Anyone know what causes it ?

I can't get into Windows Update, or anyother site that requires IE.

(I have opera installed as well as FireFox, but I need IE to work)
