magruno
I have 3 bays for harddrive placement with only 2 ide cables how would i go about connecting a third one?
Skyfrog
You can have two drives per cable. Put two of them on one cable, one set as Master and the second as a Slave. Connect the third to your other cable, set as Master. This leaves one more connection for an IDE CD-ROM or other device. Try to keep devices that you might be using simultaneously on separate cables; your CD-ROM and primary hard drive for example.

Dessimat0r
RAID 0wnz... except when a hard disk in the array fails, or you put an old meotherboard in while your 'new' one is broke, and you cannot access the HDs which are in the array.
