Is there any possibility ...

... to get my Lexmark P704 Printer working on Windows Vista Beta 1?

The drivers on my CD that came with the Printer can't be installed.

I've also downloaded the newest drivers and tried to install them.

But it's exactly the same here.

This Supplemental Driver Pack Windows Vista is trying to install after installation doesn't seem to work too.

So how can I get my Printer working?

This isn't the answer you want to hear but sometimes when beta testing you will find that some hardware is not yet supported. So you may have to go out and buy a printer that is supported or wait for a newer build with better driver support to come out. Have you asked for help in the Vista beta newsgroups?

Some ?

Most of the hardware will not work in Vista, or will need intensive setting up. That's why beta's aren't released to the general public: they are very far from being compatible yet.

Unless you're an official tester, I don't think you should run Vista at all ...

First of all, forget the Supplemental Driver Pack, doesn't work properly yet.

Second, your drivers will likely install if installed manually (have disk method which you'll find info on if you search around)
