Excel Help


Question

I need help in Excel. I have two spreadsheets A and B. A resides on my local computer, and it needs to get data from spreadsheet B. B resides on the internet, and it's data is updated every 30 minutes. Sheet A will be distributed throughout a workgroup. I need to know how to get the data from B into A. I cannot do a web query since it is looking for data contained in tables in an html file. I DO NOT want to copy and paste every 30 minutes from B into A and then redistribute. Do any of you have an answer?

i remember having to do something like that a few years ago, but i never got it to work :dead:

i thought ms has a way of having them update automatically. have you browsed through the help at all?

also, what version of excel?

Yeah, I've browsed through the help. Maybe I've been browsing through it too long... may have missed something. The version of Excel that we're using is 2000.
