Mike Brannigan
did anyone else notice that the watermark on the desktop said beta2 when the guy was demonstrating the parental controls?the sidebar looks alot nicer in that! just thought id mention it! 586523271[/snapback] The curent build tree is being developed towards the Beta 2 milestone. As such the branding work is being done (in part), hence the Beta 2 on the 5219 PDC build. This does not mean that it is Beta 2. Beta 2 is not scheduled to be released until later this year. -- Regards, Mike -- Mike Brannigan [Microsoft] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights

AJerman
Oh wow, hey Mike, nice to see you over here giving a little info to the community. Yeah, technically after the code split some time ago, the branches ended up as one that was to become beta 1, and we testers would find the bugs, and a second development branch which some people immediatly called the "Beta 2 branch". Then of course that development branch gets the bugs reported from Beta 1 merged in, and will eventually split into a branch that will become Beta 2 eventually. And really, it's not even that simple, but from what I know it's a good basic overview.
