SICKZ Posted September 14, 2005 Share Posted September 14, 2005 New build this Xmas: Intel Pentium? 4 650 Processor Prescott 3.4GHz, 800MHz FSB, Socket 775, 2MB Cache 2x Crucial Ballistix 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Unbuffered DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) @ 4-4-4-12 Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB Serial ATA II 7200RPM Hard Drive w/16MB Buffer OCZ OCZ520ADJ ATX 520W Power Supply XFX PVT43PUD Geforce 6600 256MB DDR BenQ Black IDE DVD Burner Model DW1640 BK OEM THERMALRIGHT XP-120 Heatsink Can't decide on mobo. Originally planning on the ASUS MB P5WD2 Premium but just saw this ABIT AW8-Max 3rd-Eye II. Still leaning towards the Asus but would like opinions on the Abit if possible. Should I get the Abit and DDR2 1000? Don't really want to do that unless it would be really noticeable. This will be a photoshop, maybe 3d graphics, web design and general use computer.
