Vista PDC Build Screenshots by Microsoft Presspass

Recommended Posts

Wow those are some high res shots of Windows Vista, and there is a bit of confusion weither or not official testers are getting the build with the sidebar and by more and more it looks like we are since the shots that are circulateing around from MS representing the PDC build has the sidebar, but WHY did they post a high res shot of Bill Gates? I really dont want to look at how many nose hairs he has sticking out of his nose. >_<

Whats with the Orb Start Button (looking great hope its final) and the curved Sidebar.

Are they new or old compared to the leaked screens with the rectangle sidebar and old start button.

The new start button looks alright.. (I think it's one of those 'Love it or hate it' types).Maybe it'll grow on me, as I'm used to the previous type. Hope they include it in the final product.

But thew sceeenies look good.

I think that that new start button will only be in the media center type version of Vista. I see the Media Center icon in the quick launch on that screen shot and none of the others. Pretty sweet button, but I'd lower it a bit so that only like 3/4 of the circle is showing.

Looooooks grrrrrrrrrreat. I'll download it tomorrow if it's up on MSDN Subscriber downloads.
