I partitioned my SATA DiamondMax 10 with a small 20GB partition for Vista. The install works just fine until the first reboot happens. Instead of rebooting and completing the install of Vista it just kicks me back into XP. (same drive, different partition) Its like the Vista bootloader doesnt work. Thoughts? Thoughts? 586532225[/snapback] My copy of Vista from connect.microsoft.com will be done in a short while. I'll test it. One thing I found is that if you disconnect your cable / DSL internet before booting the Vista install DVD - it completes successfully! Weird I know. But worth a try.
