How can I know the Front Side Bus of my PC?

Recommended Posts

My processor delivers 133 x2= 266, but according to the benchmark utility PC Mark, the number is 66 MHx. How can I know?

Thanks a lot.

going into the bios will tell you but that is a bug with 3d mark 2001. I had a k7s5a till this week, thats just what it says, the k7s5a can't even run a fsb that low. Well without modding it.

Yeah username's right, you could underclock it by setting the fsb to 100mhz but your running at 266 most likely. Can't remember where in the bios it was in the k7s5a, I think they called it CPU/plag and play or something. 3d mark 2001 just reads the info from the boards pll wrong and displays it as 66 mhz, wich is imposible to run at with a ecs bios

Nah it doesn't report it correctly, only was is to look in the bios for that board. The way 3D Mark, and WCPUID get the fsn is the same, and the problem is the way the k7s5a's PLL reports it.

According to WCPUID:

Internal clock = 1659.60

System clock = 132.77

System bus = 265.54

Multiplier = 12.5

I sent an e-mail today to the motherboard manufacturer to verify the right parameters.

Thanks a LOT for your help, friends. Valuable input.
