AJerman
And I hope you aren't polling the stability of a very early beta of Windows to Linux and FreeBSD. Aside from betas, I can't pick one to be more stable than the other. They are all perfectly stable for me. If I have to lean one way or another about the entire experience though, it'd be Windows. The OSes themselves are all stable for me, but you're more likely to run into crashing programs on a Linux or BSD OS.

cropcircles
It says beta 2 on the build but we all know its pre-beta. Who knows why they do that.
cropcircles
Refresh is about it. I'm not impressed and I'm getting to the point with Longhorn/Vista where just call me when the final product is out there. How many builds have you guys loaded up since LH began. I'm thinking this is my 5th install of alpha-beta. I was impress with the PDC demos of Office 12 and its features along with some of vistas flashy stuff but that wasn't done on the 5219 build. ATLien_0
vista has come along way from the early 3683 builds, with plex. Stability its a pre-beta, hell its not supposed to be stable yet cause there is a ton more work to do :)
madnuke
You can not compare those 3 really as they are both all different.
thollian
wow, I like 5219...much improved over beta 1...still got a ways to go, but I am starting to think Microsoft is going in the right direction with Vista.... they included an upgrade option now, which is nice, that I way I can test all my programs with out having to reinstall them all.... :: Lyon ::
How come the PDC's one is 32-bit? I thought there was at least an option to install either 32-bit or 64-bit
Sammyinnit
What kind of noob ass poll is this? Which is more stable? And why, is such a poll in this area? Vista is in the beta stages (Beta 1/ Pre beta 2) So why are you asking which is more stable? Linux or FreeBSD is bound to be alot more stable.
