minkcar
Hello all, Sorry if this has already been posted but I couldn't find an answer. I have just installed the 5219 build of Vista and my 6800 ultra does not display the glass effects only the XP like interface. Can this be sorted? I have tried the Nvidia Beta 1 drivers but it said it could not detect any usuable hardware. Is there a registry hack or something? Thanks for your help. Commodore Max
Are you using the 64-bit version ? Because that may be the problem ... Only the 32-bit drivers will display Glass. Try downloading TweakVista too ...
minkcar
Hey, Thanks for that. It was the 32 bit version. What I did was select update driver and then have disk. Then just navigated to the .inf file. All is working great and glass is sweet as. :)

I just installed the 64-bit version of this and have a 6800 ultra too. Trying to get the glass working properly along with the animations. Could you tell me what you did exactly...? lol Thanks in advance.
Commodore Max
Nice eh ? It's a bit slow at times, but that's because of Nvidia's old drivers ...
