and boy is it good! I love the new maximise/minimise motions, and the glass effect toolbar. The thing is nVidia are lagging way behind with their forceware drivers, over ATI's Catalyst. The current forceware can't support the new effects, and keep causing errors for me such in D3D and Direct draw. Whereas ATI are much more closer to coming no.1 with high performance Vista Beta Drivers.

I'm still waiting for my DVD to arrive...I'm excited too. What video card do you use? I use the ATI x800, so I think I'll be ok...just need to get the updated drivers first. It's my sound card I'm worried about :o

I think the Microsoft supplied nVidia drivers may work better. Give them a go

If you're talking about the Beta 1 disc, that came to me ages ago lol... where do you live?

The disc is plain, there's no design on it... just text.

(logo) Windows Vista

Professional for x86 Systems

Beta 01 / Bootable

on the first top half, the bottom half, the standard MS logo, copyright notice and the do not copy blurb.

And i don't think public availability of any beta has yet been confirmed, so don't hold your breath. Feel free to prove me wrong :p.

To the post below, there is no legit link to it because 1) beta 2 isn't released, 2) you need to be a tester. All other links are of course a no-no here.
