monofonik Posted July 13, 2002 Share Posted July 13, 2002 when i look in "my computer" on my friend's system, his burner shows up as a "CD-RW DRIVE" or something like that.. but mine shows up as cd drive. why? i want it to say cd-rw. it looks better. -chad. Veteran Posted July 13, 2002 Veteran Share Posted July 13, 2002 hehe, it does that sometimes.... don't know why but i notice that if i put my DVD drive as a master instead of a slave to the CDRW drive it only says CD Drive. When the CDRW is a master it says CDRW Drive. I don't get it either. My DVD Drive shoes up as a DVD drive as well.
