f4af_billy
is there any known way of slipstreaming "F6" drivers into vista5219? sata drivers that loaded fine during beta1 setup no longer work, but work fine once windows has been installed on another drive and installed in device manager. it leans me towards thinking there may be a bug associated with loading drivers during setup, rather than an incompatability problem. if anyone knows of slipstreaming these drivers onto the vista dvd then its mucho appreciated! :p ps, 100th post

AQUaDeX
Those won't work anymore, Vista installation dropped the text mode and gone completely WinPE, to slipstream drivers you're supposed to extract the .wim files (using ximage.exe) that is responsible for the installation system (boot.wim), it works with Beta 1 but the file compression/encryption agrothm was changed in 5219, and the contents can no longer be extracted/modified using any of the current available tools.
