mrk Reviews Posted May 26, 2009 Reviews Share Posted May 26, 2009 Here we go! Changed my Asus P5KC for a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P rev 1.1 and can now take my Q6600 (1.325vid) from 3.1GHz to way beyond depending on how I like my temps. At 430fsb I get: Not bad with just a few voltage tweaks!
+KibosJ Subscriber² Posted July 4, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted July 4, 2009 I got it running stable at 3.0GHz, it ran an Everest stability test all night and didn't fail. It Bluescreened on 3.2GHz this morning so I've increased the Voltage a little bit. How high can I/should I take the voltage on this thing? Voltage is currently at 1.4v http://*malware domain*/show_oc.php?id=597717

marc2003
i must be the only person on neowin slumming it with a single core celeron. :D but a 100% overclock isn't too shabby and it's capable of running 64bit windows so it's a good enough stop gap until i get something better.
