+M2Ys4U Subscriber¹ Posted September 22, 2005 Subscriber¹ Share Posted September 22, 2005 Bangbang rolls his own trunk builds, and they are posted on the forums. If you want a stable build (you more than likely do) then give moox's builds a try
Eclipse
You may wish to check out MozillaZine's Third Party/Unofficial Builds Forum. It's a gathering place of sorts for people who compile Mozilla products, so you should be able to find a decent build there for your particular environment. drgrudge
@bangbang023, Do you know ant built that is for slow PC? I saw this in that forum: (mmoy 's built) For Pentium 3 and other processors that support the SSE instruction set:(not available yet) Also wht is that SSE thing? Eclipse
Also wht is that SSE thing? 586564956[/snapback] SSE is a set of low-level processing instructions that most of today's processors support. If a program (like Firefox) is optimized for a given instruction set (e.g. SSE, SSE2, MMX, etc.), then it cannot be run on any processor that lacks support for it. You should be sure to check out your processor's specs before downloading any optimized build. The consequences of not doing so will most definitely not be desirable. ;)
bangbang023 Veteran Posted September 23, 2005 Veteran Share Posted September 23, 2005 For SSE, Ialways recommend Bluefyre's builds. Very similar to mine but SSE instead of SSE2: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.ph...1ca9a72add0cdcc
