.fury
Use it cause I love the organisation, but I use multi-plugin to output the sound through foobar, as it sounds far far better than the default iTunes output.
DrunknMunky Veteran Posted September 23, 2005 Veteran Share Posted September 23, 2005 I started using it when I bought my iPod. I never liked using it with windows though. blush
I only use iTunes for converting .m4a files to .mp3. Very useful for that, but otherwise no... it's not my primary music player.

Darkluminaz34
I use iTunes and Winamp... I love the playlists in iTunes and how it syncs with the iPod. Winamp I have used since the dawn of the mp3 but I just use it to play single songs I click on or NSF/PSF/USF/SPC files. iTunes 5 looks a lot better but it seems a bit more buggy and why isn't there a freaking option to scan the library for missing or moved songs!! morficus
The onlt time iTunes is acctually running on my system... is when I'm synching my iPod. After that.. I never touch the damn thing - I currently use FooBar as my player.
benjaminzsj
I got no iPod and never used iTune. It's more like an accessory for iPod to me. I may try it once I got one iPod.
kitchenutensils
i used it before i got my iPod shuffle, but i only got the shuffle because i could afford it and it worked with itunes. if given the choice, i would have started with sonic stage from sony and used that all along so i could use a sony mp3 player. in short i like i tunes but wish that it wasnt so hard to transfer databases. i suppose wmp would have been best for me, becuase all most all jukeboxes can import from that (SonicStage and iTunes and Mediasource)
