It could be a bad FDD and HDD controler ...

Check to make sure the cables are connected correctly (pin1 => pin1) ...

getting any error codes (numbers or beeps) ?

its go 6 megs of ram and a 215mb hd.

not sure about the gfx card, probably 256k.

i've got CMOS windows 3.1 on 5 1/2" floppies (orginals) so i'm gonna run that, hehe

no its starts to boot, spends a while trying to read the hd.

then throws a fdd, then hdd error. beeps once when it shows the error. then it'll try and boot off the a drive but i don't have a bootable 5 1/2" floppy
