Help with Intel Application Accelerator


Question

after isntalling intel application accelerator i restart my com. After it restarts it says there was a problem installing my new hardware which is my WD HD. I keep installing and uninstalling and tried everything..why does it do that?

A bit more info would be helpfull...

what OS are you using plus as Conan said what version IAA are you installing, is it an Intel board, what chipset is it?

all helps to narrow the problem down

one thing come to mind tho, do you have 1 or 2 HDD's on the same cable plus which type of cable do you have 40 or 80 conductor? some devices have a problem being recognised if they are not in the correct position on the cable

i.e Master on end connector, Slave on middle connector.

well, i no i have a intel motherboard, and i have one hard drive but i am connecting my hardrive and my zip drive with both cables, my hard drive is in the second one and my zip is in the frist one! I am running windows xp pro (corp) with sp1 1073, the version of intel application accelerator i am using would be the latest one from inte.com...
