fusi0n
The only times I have dual booted is when I have dual booted nix and windows. The nix installers did it auto and now I have no idea what I need to do. I have a Windows XP HardDrive and a Windows Vista Harddrive. I did not have the Windows XP Hard Drive on when I installed Vista so the "Windows Boot Manager" didn't install. How can I dual boot these drives? Thanks. 905punk
Look for boot.ini This is what mine looks like personally - Yours might not end up exactly the same - but this should give you an idea of what you need to add [boot loader] timeout=30 NOBCD default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows Longhorn" /FASTDETECT /USENEWLOADER /NoExecute=OptIn multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /FASTDETECT
Commodore Max
Play around with boot.ini, carefully. Make sure you back it up and have boot disks ready ! It's not very hard though ...
