flakingbiscuit
I agreed to my parents that if I can get a new computer that I will stay on the honor roll at my school or they'll take away my computer from my bedroom. So, I am trying to reason with them by getting a physical computer lock or something of that sort so they don't have to take the computer out of my room, in case I need it for schoolwork or something. Any suggestions on where I can get one or if anyone has a better idea than an actual lock, please speak up. -Jason

I also don't want then to be able to go through the hard drive's contents, and they can do that since they would be an admin. Good idea though
Osiris
hrmm *3rd party software - encrypts folders/Drives you tell it too so they cant be viewed without a password *Hide the Drives you dont want them viewing with TweakXP *Heaps of other lil tricks buzzing around whoichj you cvan use to hide stuff, some of them complex others simple, but it doesnt souind like your parents would be IT specialists or something so basic stuff would probably work in hiding whatever you dont want seen from the,m. Chris123NT
LOL he has to hide his porn collection. On a serious note if u get an antec case it has a lock on the frint on that door which blocks the power button. (easily bypassable of course but what they don't know can't hurt them) hehe :p
