Which nero are you using. I just did it and it works fine. Just simply (as everyone else says) click FILE and then choose BURN IMAGE and then browse to the area where the file is and select it and choose burn.

you only need a *.cue file if your burning a *.bin, the *.iso format already includes the information on the *.cue sheet right in it

iso can only contain one track, bin/cues can contain more, and different types of tracks (data / cd audio, like a game). nero can burn either. i use fireburner for bin/cues though since its much faster i find.

well you should if you want your cd to burn properly

that's not true either.

btw, Discjuggler and CD Mate don't need the cue file to burn bin's.

and it does burn "properly"

yes it is, an svcd and a data cd are burned differently

yo,

settle ;)

it isnt a big deal.

the cue sheet just contains info on the type of image, bin location and such:

FILE "C:downloadimage.BIN" BINARY

TRACK 01 MODE1/2352

INDEX 01 00:00:00

they can also be used with a super long mp3 file to divide it into separate tracks and to name the tracks.

my guess is selecting just the bin file either forces a default image type.. or the software now-a-days is smart enough to figure it out itself.

also, nero does not show .iso files when burning an image. you just have to change the view to all files to get it burned. i havent a clue why it doesnt show it by default. . . :ermm:

hey, it works for me, so why shouldn't it work for other people, heh

it'll work as long as the bin doesn't contain multiple tracks or modes.
