bboyflames
ok basically i have my windows xp on my 20 gb hdd, and it is mostly full so partitioning it would be useless, but i have another 80 gb hdd, as a secondary hdd for files etc, can i make a partition for that hdd, and run vista on it? John Veteran Posted October 1, 2005 Veteran Share Posted October 1, 2005 When you install Vista (or any version of Windows for that matter) it will automatically add the necessary details to boot.ini and configure it so that the machine boots into that installation. If you want XP to boot every time you start your machine, you'll have to change boot.ini.
