MSN never really ever does that cept when they want to take it upon themselves and do "updates."

0 TeeBall_Mark
I'd heard about a new Yahoo! customized browser that was coming......that was a few months ago and haven't heard a word about it since. No updates, no screenshots, nothing. I think its going to look similar to MSN Explorer as far as the GUI goes....it'll just have yahoo! buttons instead. So....why hasn't anybody posted or hosted a link to the betas of AOL 8 or MSN 8? :p

0 KarlSATX
I must say, I have beta tested AOL for the past 6 years and never have I seen so many improvements in any version as I have seen in this latest one. Here is a list of improvements directly from beta; Desktop Themes Prefered Mail AOL Downloads Directory (Now in C: Root Directory) Music Sharing Host Based IM Sounds Mapquest added to Address Book Host Based Favorites (No Longer Locally Stored) Use Enter Key to send Instant Messages Your Buddy Is Typing (Typing Indicator on Remote Side) Categories in Address Books Improved Printing in Address Books Block Member from IM Block Member from Notify AOL Button Automatic URL in Write Mail Form Instant Message Wallpaper Images in Mail Signature Mail Stationary Integrated AOL DSL/Cable Componants Auto Reconnect Locate/Open File After Download Host Based Buddy Icons Hosed Based Smileys Multiple CD Support New Mail Refresh Spell Check on IM Form I must admit, AOL has done a lot in this version and at this rate, AOL is going to remain number 1 on the charts. Though I rarely use AOL Anymore, I must say, there is a lot to try out. If you havent signed up for beta and downloaded it, now is the time to do so! Come join us in the Beta Chat Conference Room, Let us know your thoughts! Karl
0 jago6498
They might have improved but just because AOL is one of the top ISP, it doesn't mean that it is the best. And who in their right mind would pay $24.00 for DIAL-UP!!! And why in god's name would you pay an extra $15 for AOL's supposed "exclusive" extras. The vast majority of those are things that you can find on the internet WITHOUT AOL.
0 KarlSATX
Noone is claiming AOL is the best. I have just been using AOL for 6 years. In the past 6 years AOL has done so much for me. I met my lover of 3 1/2 years on AOL. We are still together. I have AOL to thank for that. It paid off. We still have two accounts with aol at $14.95 a month bring your own access. It's worth it to keep. I call AOL my personal Love Line. There is a lot of "Trade" to be found there. If your sexually frustrated it's certainly got the hook up. After 6 years, I will not mention how many people I've been with.....All I can say is I could only give screennames because I never knew their actual names....Ye Haw! Countless encounters kept me satisfied before I met my lover.
